Access and PasswordsHow do I find / How do I start ResearchMaster? After your CSO has installed ResearchMaster, there should be an icon available via the Start button > All Programs > QUT Software > ResearchMaster 4.1.6.6 I have changed my QUT-Access password and now I cannot log into ResearchMaster. The program designed to synchronise ResearchMaster with your QUT-Access password will pick up any changes you have made to your QUT-Access password. If you are having problems please wait a few moments (to allow the changes to go through the system) and then try to log into ResearchMaster again. If the problem persists please contact rm.support@qut.edu.au ResearchMaster has frozen, what should I do?There is a subtle difference between RM slowing down and RM 'freezing'. In general, a slowdown will allow you to continue working but in a very slow manner. It can usually be attributed to busy periods of processing or to network-related problems. Unfortunately there is not a lot we can do other than to ask for your patience. When RM 'freezes', it is not possible to continue working. This is usually the result of someone using the same student/publication/grant and locking access to the record. RM will wait until this other person 'released' the record before it will allow you to continue. Please try the following to see if it will solve the problem.
How do I change my password? We suggest that you do not change your ResearchMaster password as it is currently automatically set as your QUT-Access password. When you change you QUT-Access password the synchronisation will pick up this change and allow you to access ResearchMaster with your new QUT-Access password |
