PORTIA

The Research Student Portal - PORTIA (Postgraduate Research Training Information Assistant) offers students and staff access to research candidature information via a user friendly web browser. Data is drawn from both Callista and ResearchMaster. It is accessible via QUT Virtual.

For Faculty: View all your faculty's students. A graphical display summarising candidature progress is available.

For Students: View your current milestone dates, you can access a timeline planning system to help you schedule key events in your research and more. Discuss with your supervisor using the system to record meetings or share notes and ideas.

For Supervisors: View all your current students and check their candidature details. Key milestone dates and completion details are available. Discuss with your students using the system to record meetings or share notes and ideas.

ACCESS

Student access is automatically granted in PORTIA and students are able to log in using their QUT username an password (if your password is longer than ten characters please use the first ten only).  However if there is an issue with a student log in please contact RM Support.

Faculty users with ResearchMaster access will also have PORTIA access. 

Faculty users without RM access and supervisors can apply to have PORTIA access.  Please visit the access page for further details.
