Welcome to the ResearchMaster Support website. This website assists users and potential users of ResearchMaster by providing information on access, training, manuals, ResearchMaster modules, reports and more.
ResearchMaster is a research administration software package selected by QUT. It has modules for the management of grants, postgraduates,scholarships, publications, ethics and commercial development. It is the authorative source of research data at QUT and it provides base data for other QUT corporate systems such as the ERA, PORTIA, ISIS and the HERDC collection (undertaken in conjunction with Decision Analysis).
ResearchMaster also has interfaces with other QUT corporate systems - such as Oracle Financials (which draws financial data into the Projects module nightly via the Finance Feeder), Callista (which draws student data into the Postgraduate module) and HR (which updates base personnel information).
ResearchMaster has been in place at QUT since 2001 and it is available in a read-only capacity to administrative staff throughout the University. To request access to ResearchMaster, please see the Access page.
